Permanent Representative of Romania attends the NATO Transformation Seminar 2017 in Budapest

Ambassador Stelian Stoian, Permanent Representative of Romania to NATO, is attending the NATO Transformation Seminar, which takes place from March 21 to March 23, 2017 in Budapest. The event presents a unique opportunity for the Deputy Secretary General, Rose Gottemoeller, Permanent Representatives, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Military Representatives and Strategic Commanders to discuss the strategic challenges that NATO will will likely face over the near to long term.

The aim for the conference is to facilitate a thorough discussion about the range of actions that might be taken to safeguard the security of Allies, while working with a broad range of partners to mitigate risk throughout the international system. The seminar is organized by Allied Command Transformation and NATO with the support of The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). General Denis Mercier, the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT) is chairing the event.
